I lost My Purpose?

If you have followed this blog for any time at all you recognize that I have not been around much this year.  I am still here doing my creative thing. I just have not been posting much.  There is no excuse or reason other than I have lost sight of my purpose for this place where I share my thoughts, creative ideas, and just a bit of my life.  However, I feel  I am back on track, my purpose has been renewed and I am ready to reenter the land of my blog-o.  So let the blogging begin once again and thank you for your patience.

Judy, I'm glad to see you back. Actually, I intended to leave a comment on your post last week when I read it but got interrupted. Because of the kind of work my husband and I do with Hope Unlimited for Children, I have many "what's my purpose?" questions, too -- and I suspect that some of your absence here may have been related to the heaviness and soul-searching that comes when dealing with something like the reality of human trafficking. For me it's a constant emotional and spiritual searching to find the balance between "Beautiful Blogland" and "speaking Truth in Beautiful Blogland." I'd love to hear from you if you're feeling the same thing. Know that I for one appreciate the risk you take when tackling the ugly and unpopular subject here, and I'm holding you close in prayer this morning. Have a wonderful rest of the week!

I am happy to let you know that I am moving forward as to working for the injustice of human trafficking. I have just placed my deposit on a mission trip to Cambodia, that will be working with young women rescued out of human trafficking. Things just seem to be falling into place about how I might make a difference in a young women's life. There will be updates to come here on my blog. Thank you so much for you sweet comment.
